The following news of a Public Forum convened by Kogarah City Council, with the date, time and venue was announced only upon Council’s ‘New City Plan website’, 9 hours ago.

Update: 20 August – Public Forum date announced for Monday 31 August 2015 at Venus Reception Centre at 7pm
A Public Forum is to be conducted for any person who may wish to address Council to make representations prior to final consideration of the New City Plan.
The Public Forum will be held at an Extraordinary Council Meeting on Monday 31 August 2015 at the Venus Reception Centre, 20 Belgrave Street, Kogarah, commencing at 7.00pm.
Council officers have prepared a report that reviews all the issues that have been raised in submissions to the New City Plan. That report and supporting documents will be available from 12.00pm Friday 21 August, 2015 at:
Council’s web site – www.kogarah.nsw.gov.au (External link), or
Kogarah City Council Customer Service Centre 2 Belgrave Street, Kogarah between 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
If you wish to speak at the Public Forum regarding the New City Plan you will need to register before 4.00pm on Friday 28 August by calling the Customer Service Centre on 9330 9400. Public Forum presentations will be up to 3 minutes duration per speaker.
If you wish to attend the Extraordinary Council meeting and do not wish to speak you do not need to register.
Please note that Council will not be making a decision on the New City Plan at this Extraordinary Meeting. The purpose of this meeting is for Council to receive representations following receipt of the officer’s report on the matter. Finalisation of the New City Plan will be considered at a later Council meeting.
