Kogarah City Council:
Update on the New City Plan – Extraordinary Council Meeting Minutes

Council considered the reports on the New City Plan at an Extraordinary Council Meeting held on Monday 4 April 2016.

Council’s resolutions relating to both the reports are now available and can be viewed at:

  • Council’s website – www.kogarah.nsw.gov.au (under Council Meeting Business Papers) and the New City Plan website.
  • Kogarah City Council Customer Service Centre – 2 Belgrave Street, Kogarah between 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Council officers will now be incorporating the changes arising from resolutions into the final Planning Proposal.

Once this has been completed the amended Planning Proposal will be submitted to the NSW Department of Planning and Environment for consideration and finalisation by the Minister for Planning.

Updates on the progress of finalisation of the New City Plan will be available on Council’s website, or alternatively if you have any questions on the New City Plan and would like to speak to a Strategic Planner, please contact the New City Plan Enquiry Line on 9330 9480.

Residents said it was a decision that would be the lasting legacy of Kogarah Council.
